រដ្ឋាភិបាលនូវែលសេឡង់បានប្រកាសគម្រោងធំមួយក្នុងការលុបបំបាត់ឆ្មាអនាថា ប្រមាណ ២,៥ លានក្បាលនៅទូទាំងប្រទេស ត្រឹមឆ្នាំ ២០៥០។ គោលបំណងសំខាន់គឺការពារប្រព័ន្ធជីវចម្រុះ ដែលកំពុងប្រឈមនឹងហានិភ័យធ្ងន់ធ្ងរ ពិសេសសត្វដើមដូចជា ល្មូន ប្រចៀវ សត្វល្អិត និងបក្សីជិតផុតពូជ។

NZ Plans to Eliminate 2.5M Feral Cats by 2050

The New Zealand government has announced a major plan to eliminate the estimated 2.5 million feral cats across the country by 2050. The main aim is to protect biodiversity, which is facing serious risks, especially native animals such as reptiles, bats, insects and endangered birds. 

The plan is considered an important step in preserving natural resources and native animals. Eliminating feral cats in the wild is a measure that the government believes will help reduce the destruction and increase the survival chances of native animals for future generations.
