According to my own experience, among the students studying medicine around the world, there are many who are happy during this education, many are crying and many take a big step like suicide and take their own lives. This used to raise a question in my mind that what is it about medical education that makes different students have different mental states while studying the same syllabus? I thought about this and then I understood.
Actually, medical is not difficult, its syllabus is very heavy and students do not start studying it at the beginning of the year. When a new class or a new year starts, then students are not very serious about it, due to which they waste a lot of their time. But when the exams are approaching, when the stages, sub-stages, proofs, all these exams are approaching, then a student becomes nervous, due to which he starts feeling dejected and depressed. This education makes him feel depressed and he keeps cursing himself and making new plans. He keeps making new plans about his studies, but he is not able to follow them. Sometimes he follows them, but not in most cases and when the exams are over, then he regrets it.
I have come to understand that our education, that is, medical education, is not difficult, but our distractions are strong, due to which we get lost very quickly. That is why I have understood so far that if we want to find solutions to things, then for this we should work with discipline, hard work, and focus, and we should keep trying to understand things with great interest so that we do not have to face more difficulties later.
