Just yesterday I cycled from my university to the railway station. The distance between the railway station and the university is more than 20 kilometers. When I completed this journey on a bicycle, I took some pictures on the way and shared them with my friend. My friend said, "Dude, you are very physically fit. If I had traveled so much on a bicycle, I would have got muscle footage." Then he told me, "Dude, I want to make myself irregular. I want to correct my routine. So what should I do?" I told him that I am using a method today in which I have set some tasks for myself in a notepad. Some two or three things that I have to do this morning. I sit down the night before and make these tasks and try to do them the next morning. I also tell myself that if these tasks are not in my morning, then there will be no point in spending my day. So I give priority to these tasks first. When I sent this to him through a voice note, he replied to me in advance that he also does such things. He keeps trying and then he told me one thing that a boy had also told him a five-second rule which he is trying to implement today. He told me that when you wake up in the morning, within five seconds you should be completely awake because within five seconds if you don't know, your mind will tell you that now it's five minutes and solo or 10 minutes and solo or half an hour and show. And in this way, if your mind triggers you even once that it's five minutes and solo or ten minutes and solo, then you will keep postponing it and this thing will become your habit. As soon as he told me this through a voice note through WhatsApp, I was forced to think because I often try to wake up at six in the morning on cold days and after waking up at six, I do my necessary work, start my day with worship and start preparing for my university. But it happens that I also sleep with an alarm for six but at half past six I wake up around 10:00 which means that my worship is missed or my university time is delayed a little or I have to skip my breakfast. So I completely understood that if we do not take a small decision quickly, then our brain starts making decisions on its own and also that in a duration of just five seconds if we do not wake ourselves up, our brain tells us to sleep and believe me, that five-second period is a period in which a person can improve himself and can also spoil his habits. If we look a little deeper, in fact, those five seconds of our life, those five seconds of our day in which we have to decide whether we have to get up now or sleep more, are the ones that change our habits into permanent habits. If we stand up immediately in five seconds without thinking anything, it means that we have stopped our brain from thinking that we should sleep more now and if we think that now And stay asleep, it means that we have allowed our brain to do that. And stay asleep, that five-second decision alone had a profound impact on our lives. More importantly, I realized that small habits in life have a profound impact on our lives in small periods of time. And when a person starts improving himself, working on his personality and his self-vision, he should first start working on himself.
